Leadership
How I think, decide, and lead.
Product leadership, for me, is the discipline of connecting customer problems, technology choices, and business outcomes, and building organisations that can keep making those connections well.
Philosophy
What I believe about product leadership
Products create business outcomes through customer outcomes
Every product decision is ultimately a business decision expressed through the customer. I hold both ends of that chain at once, and expect product organisations I lead to do the same.
Strategy is choosing, and choosing is excluding
A portfolio that tries to serve everything serves nothing well. I make trade-offs explicit, tie them to strategy, and revisit them on evidence rather than advocacy.
Ambiguity is the job
0→1 work and turnaround work share a trait: the answer is not knowable upfront. I approach hard problems by framing the decision, identifying what must be true, and sequencing learning before scale.
Strong teams deliver lasting results
Build product teams with clear ownership and accountability, giving people the support and authority to make decisions. Strong leadership creates teams that sustain performance beyond any individual leader.
Operating Approach
How I connect the decisions
Hard product problems involve multiple dimensions. I work deliberately across five connected threads.
01 — Customer
Start from a real problem with real stakes; validate before committing.
02 — Product
Translate the problem into a focused offer and a sequenced roadmap.
03 — Technology
Make architecture and build/buy/partner calls that serve the strategy, including where AI genuinely changes the value.
04 — Business
Connect every bet to revenue, margin, and P&L consequences, and say so plainly.
05 — Organisation
Build and lead product teams with clear ownership, decision authority, and operating discipline to deliver on strategy.
Career Context
Breadth, deliberately gathered
My career spans enterprise SaaS, B2B and B2B2X models, Accounting, Taxation and Compliance, FinTech, TravelTech, Telecom, Commerce, Order Management, and digital platforms at scale. This experience includes organisations such as Amadeus, Yubi, Tally Solutions, CSG, and Dell Technologies.
That breadth is deliberate. Each domain taught a different lesson about how products create value: regulated financial platforms taught rigour around trust and risk; airline and travel technology taught scale and operational complexity; commerce and order management taught systems thinking across many stakeholders. Together, they shape how I evaluate new problems by recognising patterns across contexts rather than repeating one industry's playbook.
My roles have evolved from building products to leading product teams and shaping product strategy and organisations.
